I believe we are all artists already. Sometimes, all we need is an opportunity to begin.
I’m a watercolor and mixed media artist and teacher who loves creating playful, expressive artwork inspired by color, curiosity, and the everyday world around us. Working primarily in watercolor, ink, collage, and mixed media, I teach both online and in person, encouraging artists to experiment, trust their own marks, and discover what happens when they give themselves permission to create.
At the heart of everything I teach is a simple idea: you don’t have to wait for more time, the perfect studio, or the right season of life to build a creative practice. You can begin with the time you have.
My Begin. Build. Bloom. philosophy grew from my own experience of fitting creativity into a busy life. I discovered that even fifteen minutes could become something meaningful. Begin by showing up, even for a few moments. Build through curiosity, practice, and small creative choices. Bloom as those small beginnings grow into a creative life that feels truly your own.
Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time or returning to creativity after years away, my hope is that you’ll find encouragement, inspiration, and a welcoming place to create here with me.
