Let’s wander, play, and see where the pieces take us. In this two-hour Watercolor Whimsy Build class, you’ll combine watercolor, collage, and mixed media to create a whimsical portrait that is uniquely your own.
We’ll explore choosing and arranging collage elements, creating a balanced composition, adding watercolor, layering floral elements, and finishing your piece with playful marks, embellishments, and optional inspirational words. I’ll be working with pages from my recent Wandering Watercolor collaboration with Collage Soup, but you’re encouraged to use what you have, digital collage resources, your own printed images, magazine pages, favorite papers, or anything else that sparks your curiosity.
